Together, we can shape the narrative of an entire continent.
For centuries, our powerful stories have gone untold, misrepresented, or lost in translation while traditional storytellers lack platforms to preserve oral history for future generations.
Griots, writers, and artists face limited access to audiences and recognition.
The result? Our stories fade into the shadows, replaced by voices that don’t truly understand our heritage.
The African Storytelling Circle (ASC) is here to change that.
Why ASC Exists
We are building a thriving pan-African community dedicated to:
When you join ASC, you gain:
Every story is valued from village folktales to modern-day documentaries. African voices lead global conversations about Africa. Storytelling drives social change, inspires communities, and fuels cultural pride. The ASC is where this vision becomes reality — one storyteller, one project, one connection at a time.
Every week, your membership keeps you actively learning and engaged through fun, interactive storytelling activities exploring Africa through the theme of the month: which include, info clips, challenges, puzzles, cultural spotlights, knowledge riddles, Q and A, micro content and story chains. Everyday, learning continues with;
